Background and Credentials

Dr. Alyaa Mafrag is excited to provide excellent dental care & enhance one of the most noticeable aspects of an individual: their smile.

Growing up with a mother who was also a dentist, Dr. Mafrag lived in a household that valued maintaining good dental hygiene. She is proud to be able to promote the importance of oral health in her community and play a part in bridging the gap in oral health disparities.

Dr. Mafrag attended the University of Baghdad School of Dentistry & later Boston University, Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She has continued her education with courses in areas such as conscious sedation, veneers, implants & prosthetic dentistry & has 20 years of experience practicing. She also maintains professional relationships in the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association & the Massachusetts Dental Society.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Mafrag enjoys spending time with her husband & daughter. She also likes to flex her culinary skills with new dishes.
